This stage is, without doubt, the most important building block to the success of your business venture in Spain.

It is worth spending as much time as possible to ensure you fully understand all of the processes we shall go through together. We begin with your start-up and operating capital, without ring-fencing your finances your business will become out of control and be susceptible to early failure at great cost.

We also need to agree on your registered company name, this takes time to apply for and will hold up your promotion and marketing side if you do not have a confirmation certificate from the Spanish Central Mercantile Register. If you are purchasing an existing business we can expedite this more quickly.

From cash-flow forecast to registering you with the local tax and social security offices, we work our way through the many areas of Spanish business processes, making sure you are playing a full part in understanding just how to give your forthcoming enterprise the best start possible.

During this stage, we meet with you often to clarify many aspects of our work. For example, we take you to potential business premises and locations. There will be paperwork to complete and sign, either at our associates offices or with the banks, government departments and Notary. We will organise a schedule for you, so that you know well in advance what you are doing, where you are going and what you are signing.

Many business hopefuls fail at this stage. Without expert guidance, Spanish language skills and a lack of understanding regarding Spanish law and bureaucracy, the process, which we take in our stride, becomes a daunting and confusing task. WE REMAIN YOUR PRINCIPAL SUPPORT!
Your first year in business can be full of surprises. Some positive and some negative. There will be unseen opportunities to grow your business and there may be unseen pitfalls that could threaten it's very survival. (remember the banana skin)?

However, we visit you at your business on a regular scheduled basis and talk about your areas of concern and opportunity. We shall always be there to adjust and fine-tune your strategy on an on-going basis in your first year.

At the end of the first year, we offer you a chance to renew your consultancy contract with us and our associates, again on beneficial rates to you and your business - very few of our clients, having tasted success with us, choose not to!
